Healing Intentions is a 4-hour small group experience in being present to what is needed for your own healing of body, mind and spirit. Healing Intentions is designed to create a setting in which profound insights, healing and opening to Spirit can take place. You will be invited and prepared to participate in intentional healing for you and for others in the group.This experience is helpful for people who desire healing from emotional or physical problems and pain. People with stress related concerns, chronic pain, or other difficulties related to general health and well-being are appropriate for this group. Member-owners can participate in community outreach and areas supervised by the board of directors and earn discount rewards. Here are our volunteer opportunities:Board of Directors • Run in the annual election held in October Strategic Planning Committee • Sign up to serve on this committee that meets bi-monthly Participant Projects • Help maintain our landscaping through our Beds & Breakfast program • Assist with educational demonstrations at health fairs • Assist with set up, registration and clean up at the Annual Meeting • Deliver groceries to homebound customers Outreach Programs • Serve as a volunteer for the Community Action Council • Serve as a volunteer for the MN Valley Humane Society • Serve as a volunteer for the MN Valley YMCA Discount is based on the number of hours accrued as a volunteer each quarter. Each hour of volunteer time equals 0.5%. For instance, 10 hours earns a 5% discount every time you shop. 20 hours ( the maximum covered in the program) earns 10% every time you shop.
