A New Year can mean busier schedules, but it’s important to nourish your body throughout the day. Grab and go items are the perfect solution for sustaining you and your family. Our deli provides an array of grab and go items like salads, soups, sandwiches, wraps and of course desserts! We’ve taken some of our favorite bakery items, like our Mindy’s Brownies and Bumble Bars, and put them into shareable to-go containers.  Both are made in-house and packaged in a container that fits perfectly into your car’s cup holder. Our Bumble Bars are just the right snack for some quick energy. Ingredients like coconut, honey, peanut butter, cashews, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds will help provide your body with the fuel it needs. If you’re looking for a quick and easy dessert to share then Mindy’s Brownies is the way to go.

Holiday-Themed Cakes Did someone say cake? Check out our deli's made from scratch, holiday themed cakes and cupcakes, all freshly baked this week! Our delicious cakes are available in our popular white almond or Mexican chocolate flavors, and decorated with white or chocolate buttercream frosting. We use natural, plant-based tints for decorating, and naturally-tinted sprinkles and decorating sugars. Some of our cakes are vegan - just look for the oval vegan sticker on packaging. For best selection, now's the time to come on in and pick one up! Just stop by our deli area to find a nice variety of festive and seasonally decorated cakes in 1/8 sheet or picnic sizes, and of course cupcakes, sold in 4-packs. Don't forget, we also have made-from-scratch holiday cookies (sold by the pound), our amazing Deluxe Fruitcake, and other deli-made holiday goodies available, while supplies last!

Who doesn’t like the ooey, gooey melt in your mouth goodness of a grilled cheese sandwich? I know I would never pass one up. Just thinking of it makes me salivate at the idea of biting into two crunchy, butter pieces of toasted or grilled bread, only to have a sharp, cheddar cheese ooze out of the middle of it. I will have to admit that I don’t need to follow a gluten-free diet or any other special diet for that matter but I can say that I feel for anybody that does. I have tried some gluten-free products in my time and some of them as you can imagine or know from experience, taste, well, how do I say it – like cardboard. Yet what I can adamantly admit is that our Down in the Valley Bakehouse’s new Gluten-Free Raspberry Rhapsody Muffin, which is only available for a limited time (through March 2016) at $2.69 each, tastes like anything but cardboard. In fact, I wouldn’t even know the muffin is gluten-free if someone didn’t tell me. Amazingly enough, it is also dairy free, using coconut kefir and coconut milk as its dairy alternatives.
