Does the term “Healthy Aging” make you think of an 80 year old person hiking the Appalachian Trail, or a 75 year old spending time playing with grandchildren? Or even a 65 year old staying active in a career? What does healthy aging mean to you?
We will talk about how exercise and movement, healthy eating, stress relief, stimulation of the brain and a great night’s sleep can all contribute to achieving the kind of older years you hope to enjoy. We’ll discuss how supplementation and alternative therapies can support us on this quest to make our later years in life the most productive and fulfilling as we can. Determine your individual goal to work on each month and find the support from others that you need in order to carry out your plan.
We will discuss and practice various relaxation techniques and experiment with some quick and healthy meals and snacks. Feel free to stay after each class if you can and enjoy special time to socialize and get to know each other over tea or coffee from the juice bar.
