Healthy Holiday Bites on Small Plates
Instructor: Loris Sofia Gregory
Whether you’re looking for something small but enticing for dining solo, with your family or hosting a house-full, this class will give you a diversity of delicious choices for lightening up through the holidays. Small-plate dining encompasses small but appetizing dishes familiar in many world cuisines such as Spanish tapas, Italian antipasta or Greek or Turkish mezze. The “Small Plate Movement” encourages the consumption of smaller amounts on smaller plates ─adding up to fewer calories ─ as a healthy eating initiative. This class spotlights healthy flavorful bites attractively served on small plates to make eating and entertaining easy, fun and hassle-free through the holidays. Consider fresh vegetarian produce, flavorful herbs, and nutritional dense/calorie sparse options through demonstrations, sampling and easy-to-prepare recipes to enjoy year around.
