INFLAMMATION AND LOWERING YOUR RISK FOR CHRONIC DISEASE*
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20 | 6:30–8 p.m.
Instructor: Eileen Johnson
Recently, the Journal Neurology published a study that looked at a connection between inflammation and Alzheimer’s and other age-related cognitive decline. This has resulted in exciting conversations about the possibility of lifestyle changes that could curb cognitive delay. Inflammation also has links to numerous chronic diseases, including Type 2 Diabetes, cancer, and autoimmune issues. Let’s spend time together understanding the basics of inflammation and how diet, exercise, stress relief, quality sleep, interaction with friends, and learning new skills, may all play a part in reducing inflammatory processes.
