Midwest Food Connection Presents: Make Your Own Pizza for Children Grades K-6

Expand and train your taste buds! This lesson will present the plants, flavors, and use of herbs and spices common to agriculture and cuisine in Minnesota. Children will use both fresh and dried herbs to make pizzas, and explore how this popular food can be a healthy meal option.

Join Emily Houser from Midwest Valley Food Connection to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. Valley Natural Foods is partnered with Midwest Food Connection to inspire kids to eat well and learn about local and organic foods.

NOTE: This class is designed for children in Kindergarten thru 6th Grade. Parents are welcome to stay, but space is limited. Register for your child only.
