Vegan Basics 101

In this class we will answer the question, “Why Vegan?” as well as visit a local co-op where you will learn how to shop for vegan food (be prepared to do on the spot purchasing for any products that catch your eye). These foods will include meet analogs (substitutes) and naturally occurring vegan foods; produce, nuts, seeds, legumes, grains and more.  We will return to the kitchen and create Lightly Curried “Kielbasa” & New Potatoes, Smokey Black-Peppered Seared Green Beans, Vanilla Pudding Parfait with Toasted Coconut Chips. All Vegan, All the Time!
