Cinnamon Cranberry Sauce

Tart cranberries bursting with cinnamony-sweet goodness! You’ll want to make a double batch.

Instructions

  • 1. Wash cranberries and place into a saucepan.
  • 2. Pour the maple syrup and the water over the cranberries and stir.
  • 3. Stir in the cinnamon and cloves.
  • 4. Bring cranberries to a simmer and cook until the cranberries burst open - about 10 minutes.
  • 5. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
  • 6. Stir and taste, add honey by spoonfuls stirring until it is a bit sweeter than you want (the cranberries will lose some of their sweetness when chilled).
  • 7. Refrigerate until serving.
