Muffuletta Sandwich

Just in time for Mardi Gras celebrations here’s an easy and delicious recipe to help your guests celebrate the right way.

Instructions

  • 1. In a small bowl whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, Dijon, black pepper, red pepper flakes and oregano.
  • 2. Stir in the onion, garlic, cauliflower, roasted red peppers and olives, refrigerate for at least 1 hour or longer.
  • 3. Spread olive mixture on the bottom and top of the ciabatta bread, layer with half of the provolone, ham, salami, and turkey and top with the remaining provolone cheese.
  • 4. Set the top of the ciabatta bread on the provolone cheese, wrap sandwich in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
  • 5. Cut into individual sandwich sized servings.
