Sweet & Spicy Chicken Kabobs

Making kabobs is fun for the whole family, just give each person some skewers and thread away. The orange juice mixed with the spice of the serrano chilies gives these kabobs a great marriage of flavors, but it’s important to marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours for adequate blending to occur. Leave the seeds in the chilies for a little extra spicy heat.

  • 1. In a small bowl mix together the vinegar, soy sauce, oil, ginger, garlic, orange juice, honey, salt, minced chili and onion.
  • 2. Place cubed chicken into a gallon size plastic bag, pour marinade over chicken and marinate for at least 2 hours.
  • 3. Thread chicken onto the prepared skewers and grill over medium high heat until no longer pink.
  • 4. *Soak dry wooden skewers for at least 30 minutes before use.
