Meet the Managers of Valley Natural Foods

October is National Cooperative Month and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate all month long.

We wouldn’t be what we are today without our shoppers and member-owners, we wouldn’t be who we are without the leadership of our managers!

This month, we’ll be introducing all of our store managers and give you a glimpse into who they are, why they love being a part of VNF, and what they love outside of the co-op.

Please meet Brittany — our Kitchen Manager!


How long have you been at Valley Natural Foods? I have been with Valley natural foods for 18 years. I have held various positions in the deli from starting out at deli service and juice counter, shift lead, cook, kitchen shift lead, and current role of Kitchen Manager.

Why do you love being a part of a co-op? What I love about working at a co-op is the workplace culture and community involvement.

What’s your favorite product from the Deli? My favorite item from the deli is the Chicken Wild Rice Soup!

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? I enjoy spending my days off with my husband and 3 boys, whether it’s spending the day at home, at my oldest’s soccer games, or traveling.

What are a couple of things you can’t live without and why? I cannot live without my family as they are my everything. Coffee is a must! I’ one of those people that can’t have a conversation till I’ve had my first cup!

What was the last TV show you binged or book you read? The last show I binge-watched was Pretty Little Liars. Currently binge-watching Desperate Housewives.

What’s your go-to coffee/tea order? My go-to coffee order is an Iced Latte

Anything else you like to share about who you are and why you love Valley Natural Foods? I cannot wait for traveling to open back up so we can travel across Europe. I love to cook and bake, I learned how to cook and bake on the job at Valley Natural Foods back in 2005.
